Amel OUALID
Amel Oualid is a fundraiser operating from France who, according to the U.S. Treasury, runs purported charities that ostensibly raise money to aid civilians in Gaza while partnering with Saleem Abdallah Saleem al-Zaq, a Gaza-based battalion deputy in the Hamas military wing, to raise and transfer money directly to al-Zaq, who in turn funnels it to Hamas. Treasury says Oualid established Ensemble C Mieux and, like Faouzi Barika's Association Baraka, uses it to raise money to send to al-Zaq and Hamas. Treasury says Oualid, Barika and al-Zaq collected more than $2 million for Hamas between 2020 and 2026, $1.5 million of it after the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack on Israel, and that Oualid and Barika sent hundreds of thousands of dollars in cryptocurrency to al-Zaq, who advertised their fundraising accounts on social media. OFAC designated Amel OUALID on 2 October 2026 under SDGT.
