EUAQ

EUAQ denotes the European Union's autonomous ISIL (Da'esh) and Al-Qaeda sanctions, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2016/1686 and an accompanying Council Decision of 20 September 2016. Complementing the United Nations-based list the EU applies separately, it allows the EU to designate, on its own initiative, persons and entities associated with the two organisations, imposing asset freezes and travel restrictions on those participating in, financing or supporting their acts.
