HTI

HTI denotes the European Union's restrictive measures in view of the situation in Haiti, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2022/2309 of 25 November 2022 with an accompanying Council Decision. It implements United Nations Security Council Resolution 2653 (2022), directed at those responsible for or complicit in criminal activities and violence threatening Haiti's peace, security and stability, and was extended with EU-autonomous listings. The measures comprise asset freezes, an arms embargo and travel bans.
