MDA

MDA denotes the European Union's restrictive measures in view of actions destabilising the Republic of Moldova, established by Council Regulation (EU) 2023/888 and an accompanying Council Decision of 28 April 2023. The framework targets those responsible for undermining or threatening the sovereignty and independence of Moldova, or its democracy, rule of law and stability, and provides for asset freezes, prohibitions on making funds available and travel bans.
