YEM

YEM denotes the European Union's restrictive measures in view of the situation in Yemen, established by Council Regulation (EU) No 1352/2014 of 18 December 2014 with an accompanying Council Decision. It implements the United Nations framework created by Security Council Resolution 2140 (2014), providing asset freezes and travel bans against those designated for threatening Yemen's peace, security or stability or obstructing its political transition, later including a targeted arms embargo.
