The Cyber (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020
The United Kingdom's thematic cyber sanctions regime, made in June 2020 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018, with substantive provisions in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. It replaced the EU cyber restrictive measures of 2019, carrying existing designations across on a single transition date, and allows designation of persons involved in relevant cyber activity, who face asset freezes and exclusion from the United Kingdom.
