The Mali (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020
The United Kingdom's Mali sanctions regime, made in July 2020 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018, with substantive provisions in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. Reflecting the United Kingdom's United Nations obligations and replacing Council Regulation 2017/1770, it provides asset freezes and travel bans for persons whose activities threaten Mali's peace, stability or security or undermine its Peace and Reconciliation Agreement.
