The Republic of Belarus (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019
The United Kingdom's Belarus sanctions regime, made in March 2019 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 and fully in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. It replaced the EU measures applied under Council Regulation 765/2006, carrying existing designations across on a single transition date, and provides asset freezes, travel bans and trade restrictions, including on goods usable for internal repression, to encourage respect for democratic principles and human rights.
