The Somalia (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020

The United Kingdom's Somalia sanctions regime, made in June 2020 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018, with substantive provisions in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. Implementing United Nations Security Council resolutions on Somalia and replacing the corresponding EU legislation, it provides asset freezes, travel bans and trade restrictions covering military goods, charcoal and improvised-explosive-device components, in support of Somalia's peace, stability and security.
