The South Sudan (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

The United Kingdom's South Sudan sanctions regime, made in March 2019 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 and fully in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. Reflecting the United Kingdom's United Nations obligations and replacing Council Regulation 2015/735, it provides asset freezes, travel bans and military-goods trade restrictions, with maritime enforcement powers, to promote the peace, security and stability of South Sudan.
