The Venezuela (Sanctions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019

The United Kingdom's Venezuela sanctions regime, made in January 2019 under the Sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering Act 2018 and fully in force from the end of the Brexit transition period. It replaced the EU restrictive measures of 2017, carrying designations across on a single transition date, and provides asset freezes, travel bans and trade restrictions on goods usable for internal repression, to encourage respect for democracy, human rights and the rule of law.
