The European Union designates it as logical id 152724 on 24 April 2023, published under the name Ahlu Sunna wa Jamaah together with the names Mozambique Wilaya of the Islamic State, Al-Shabaab in Mozambique, Ansar Al-Sunna and ISIL-M.
